Question Title Skip Login Screen on Windows XP and Vista

Skip Login Screen on Windows XP and Vista

You can bypass the initial login screen for computers running Windows Vista or Windows XP. This is beneficial if you are the only user on that computer and can save you a few seconds during the login process. If you have multiple users on the computer, you'll want to keep the login screen.

Automatically login to Windows

You can do this is a couple easy steps. First, go to Start, then Run and type control userpasswords2 and hit OK. In Vista, click the Windows Start Icon, then type control userpasswords2 in the search bar and hit Enter. You will need to select the username you want to apply this to and uncheck the box that says "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." Hit OK and close the Window. When you reboot, you should go directly into Windows and bypass the login screen.
